PhD Thesis "Biobased and biological polysaccharide-amyloid composites"

The goal of this thesis was to explore the relationship between polysaccharides and amyloids and identify the potential applications of their composites. This encompasses both in vitro gen-erated composites, as well as composites found occurring naturally in biological systems. In both cases, we aimed to combine the structural integrity of polysaccharide fibers with theutility of amyloids to generate robust functional materials.
